Reedsburg Historical Society and Pioneer Village

The Reedsburg Area Historical Society will be celebrating our 60th year in 2025.

Our main goals are preserving, interpreting and living out the history of our community.  

The Reedsburg Area Historical Society begun in 1965 and officially chartered on February 4, 1966, The Pioneer Village and museums of the Reedsburg Historical Society sit on 52 acres of pine forest. 

You are encouraged to stop by for a visit, and to join us in preserving Reedsburg's past.  Below you will find information about joining the society, donations and other annual events. 

We are open Memorial Day until September, weather permitting, on Saturdays 11am-4pm. The cost is $5 per person donation.

Annual Events

Our famous Memorial Day weekend Chicken BBQ!  Held on Sunday the Knights of Columbus bring their skills to help us feast!  Join us for tasty chicken, potatoes, beans, applesauce, and bread... oh and the pies!

Heritage Day/Rendevous will be held Friday - Saturday, September 12-13, 2025
